Every month, the North End Gallery in Leonardtown hosts themed gallery shows featuring incredible local artists. Do something different this weekend and consider showing your appreciation to your local community of Southern Maryland artists! February 2016: A Sweetheart of a Show
This month, the North End Gallery’s themed show is entitled, “A Sweetheart of a Show.” This annual invitation show features the art of more than 25 guest artists from the Southern Maryland area. Additionally, work by the gallery’s 32 member artists will be on display. The featured show will include elements of children’s and scientific illustrations, knitted wire, quilting, linocut prints, silver, jewelry, ceramics, wood, sculpture, mosaics and photography. There will be drawings and painting in all media. The show is diverse, aesthetically pleasing and full of wide talents.
February Show Hours of Operation
Recently, the North End Gallery was revamped to accommodate a more dynamic art display. Pop in and check out their redesign! You can still visit and view “A Sweetheart of a Show” at the North End Gallery through February 27, 2016 during their hours of operation. Their hours of operation are usually Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you have any questions about the current show or gallery hours at North End Gallery, give them a call at 301-475-3130.
