The 23rd Annual Southern Maryland Spring Festival is taking place at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds April 28 through May 1, 2016. Come out and have some family fun!

Southern Maryland Spring Festival
The 23rd Annual Southern Maryland Spring Festival is taking place at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds April 28 through May 1, 2016. The fairgrounds are located at 42455 Fairgrounds Road, Leonardtown, MD 20650. The festival will benefit the outreach charities Hospice, Hope, and CareNet. There will be a carnival, entertainment, tractor pull, children’s games, hay rides, sand art, face painting, car show, parade artists, raffles, a silent auction, and more. The operating schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, April 28: 5 PM to 11 PM
- Carnival Only Night – Ride bracelets only $12 to ride all night
- Friday, April 29: 5 PM to 11 PM
- Saturday, April 30: 10 AM to 11 PM
- Ride bracelets $20 to ride 10 AM to 5 PM
- Sunday, May 1: 10 AM to 6 PM
Admission prices to the Southern Maryland Spring Festival are as follows:
- Thursday: $1 admission ages 6 and up
- Friday through Sunday: $6 adult admission, $3 admission ages six to 12, free admission for ages 5 and under
- Tip: Bring one non-perishable canned food item per person and save $1 on each admission fee
Southern Maryland Spring Festival Volunteer Information
Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity? There will be a cleanup weekend in preparation of the festival at the fairgrounds on April 24 at 2 PM. There are also two Spring Festival volunteer meetings on Monday, April 11 and Monday, April 18.
